Since the beginning of the modern era of highway construction, Contractors, Subcontractors and Suppliers have been forced to either order plan sheets and/or visit a planroom; a time consuming and expensive way to get the information you need.

Wouldn't it be nice to just come into the office, turn your computer on and have every project that TxDOT is bidding for that month?

Well now you can! That's right, you no longer need to spend your time ordering plan sheets or spending several hours at a planroom. All you have to do is turn on your computer and have the most up-to-date TxDOT plans. Texas Planroom Company can put you in the driver's seat.

The New Road to Travel

Our services include packaging all TxDOT plans currently out for bid. Using CD-ROM or Internet download you can receive your plans monthly with or without revisions. You can utilize your 8 X 11 printer in your office, if you do not need scaled plan sheets. If you need scaled drawings, you can also purchase an 11 X 17 printer.

Service Packages and Fees

CDROM Service

• Subscriber will pay for shipping
• Revisions can be downloaded from website for no additional cost
• There is no yearly subscription required
• Billing is as follows:

  	Monthly
  First CD (*)	$150.00/month
  Additional CD Copies (**)	$25.00/CD

  *	Receive First CD at your set date or 2 working days after TxDOT's Release to Contractors.
  **	If your first CD was received before TxDOT's Release to Contractors, you can receive the final CD 2 working days after TxDOT's Release to Contractors.

TxDOT's Release to Contractors = First day proposals are available to contractors (Usually around the 15th of the prior month)

Internet Download Service

• One time setup fee of $50.00, includes:
  • viewing program
  • password-protected access
• Billed monthly by number of sheets downloaded as follows:

  Sheets	Cost per Sheet
  0-50	$0.50 each
  51-150	$0.30 each
  151-550	$0.20 each
  551 an above	$0.15 each
