Notes

  1. Usernames (a.k.a Logins or User IDs) should be all lowercase letters, although digits are allowed after the first letter. No spaces are allowed. Length should be two to eight characters. Typical logins are variations of the user's real name, but feel free to more imaginative if you like. Logins are public information.
  2. Passwords should be five to sixteen characters long, preferably a mixture of uppercase, lowercase, digits, and punctuation, such as "Build-14-ME". Passwords are private information, but avoid duplicating passwords you use elsewhere to minimize risk. This site does not currently use SSL, although it may in the future. All downloads log the hostname of the downloading user to improve security.
